Pulaski Fire Department and The Historic Pulaski Theater "Night at the Movies" to be held on April 28th @ 7pm. This is a fundraiser for Pulaski Fire Department so please share, post, send emails, and spread the word about this event.
The movie will be "Only the Brave" which is a true story about some elite firefighters on a wildland fire in June 2013 who risk everything trying to save a historic town from a wildfire. It should be a good movie and a good time for all who attends.

Join us for a float down the New River to benefit the Barren Springs Vol. Fire
Registration begins at 9 a.m.
Launch at 10 a.m.
$25 (includes t-shirt & meal) must be registered before June 1, 2018.
$30 day of event.
$10 mulligan card.
The float will last around 3-4 hours. Transportation will be provided to & from the launch
site. Join us after the float for some delicious food.
Prizes for the top three hands & the worst.

Pembroke Fire Department will hold our 3rd annual Poker Float at Whitt Riverbend Park. Come on out for a fun filled adventure down the beautiful New River with stops along the way to gather your poker cards and at the end, the best hand will receive a brand new kayak. Second, third, and the worst hand receiving prizes as well.
Gathering spot will be Whitt-Riverbend Park (Pearisburg). Shuttle buses will take participants to the Eggleston River Access point, returning to Whitt-Riverbend.

Burn practical session focused on atmospheric monitoring follows the lecture. Full PPE & SCBA required.
